[Eric Ettinger, owner of Ettinger Engineering Associates recognizes that the economics of providing energy conservation and sustainable design and the implementation of environmentally conscious buildings don't necessarily coincide with the desire and need to respect all that is green around us. Through LEED, the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) and other programs such as Energy Star and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), incentives for tax credits have been made available for this purpose.
